I attended STATHS for one miserable (if memorable) year. I was a full scholarship recipient transferred from Manchester High School (equally miserable)...I simply loved "Zach" Henry. I loved him even though it seemed as if I was forever running afoul of him, as a result of which, many mornings I would find myself standing on the podium during devotions. i was a student in Electrical 1/2. After graduation I migrated to the USA in 1978 and lived in Brooklyn NYC where I stayed for a short while. I have served in The United States Marine Corps, California Highway Patrol and have been a member of The Los Angeles Police Department for the past 14 years. I currently live in So. California.

I graduated in 1976, I did alittle stint in the drama club under Trevor Nerne when in 1975 we represented Appleton rum in the JA. festival,was shot putter on the track team at champs in 74, 75 , & 76 in my final year I qualified for the carifta games. In 1977 with the aid of Mr. Goldsmith [deceased] I started representing Jamaica in weightlifting I competed at CAC, PAN, Commonwealth and Olympic games and numerous world wide competition. I now reside in Atlanta GA. with my wife and two kids.

In addition to attending classes most of the time, I dabbled in a little football and track & field. I daydreamed a lot about my history teacher, Mrs. Henry. Since leaving STATHS, I have surprisingly gone on to earn a BA in History (remember Mrs. Henry?), MEd. in Curriculum & Instruction, and am currently a Doctoral student in Higher Education Administration. I am the International Student Advisor at Morgan State University (www.morgan.edu) in Baltimore, MD. I reside in Rosedale, MD with Herleen, my lovely wife for 24 years, and our two children (when they are not away in college) Nicol and Kieron. One Love to all STATHS alumni.
