SCHOOL MEMORIES

Hi,

Welcome to the web site for the alumni of St Andrew Technical High School. Finally, we have a web site that will bring us together and accomplish other objectives in the future.

My name is David Jamieson, a STATHS graduate of the class of 1973. I have been involved in many STATHS related events over the years and I would like to get more of my fellow past students involved for future events.

Just recently the south Florida chapter of STATHS alumni in association with KC "Old Boys" put on a very successful "Old Time Jamaica Independence Street Dance" in Opa-Locka Florida. The event received notable mention in the Miami Herald and the Ft Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel.

More events are planned for the future. Check the Events page periodically for more details.

The purpose of most of these events are two-fold. They give us an opportunity to meet and have a good time and help fund the puchase of books and equipment for our beloved school back home.

As a result of economic pressures and vandalism, St Andrew Technical High is in great need of basic things like books and computers. We have delivered some books, computers for the AUTOCAD department, water coolers and a few other equipment to the school.

Very shortly, we will be delivering a lawn mower to STATHS. If you would like to help plan future events or contribute towards purchasing equipment for the school, please contact me by or reach me by phone at (305) 687-1677.
